Stoneridge Mirror Technologies (formerly Orlaco and part of Stoneridge) develops camera monitor systems (CMS) and mirror replacement systems for commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The MirrorEye system, launched in 2020 for Class 8 trucks, replaces conventional mirrors with high-definition cameras and interior displays, improving aerodynamics and reducing fuel consumption. The system is approved for use by DOT/NHTSA in North America and is offered on Peterbilt, Kenworth, and other commercial vehicles.
